FAQ
At the moment I’m only offering virtual services, which means we can work together from anywhere in Ontario. You’ll get a video link before each session, and your plan documents arrive by email after.
45 minutes together, plus 15 minutes of planning on my end. Longer or shorter sessions may be available on request.
A discovery call is a free 15-minute conversation to share what you are looking for, ask questions, and see whether working together may be a good fit. It is not a clinical assessment and does not include individualized nutrition or exercise recommendations.
A Registered Dietitian (RD) is a regulated healthcare professional with advanced university education and supervised clinical training in nutrition science, clinical assessment, and nutrition therapy. Dietitians are qualified to assess nutritional status, interpret relevant medical information, provide evidence-based nutrition counselling, and develop individualized nutrition interventions to promote health, prevent disease, and support the management of acute and chronic health conditions.
An Exercise Physiologist is a university-educated exercise and health professional with advanced training in human physiology, exercise testing, health risk assessment, and evidence-based exercise prescription. Exercise Physiologists use scientific principles to assess, prescribe, and monitor exercise programs for healthy individuals, athletes, and people living with chronic health conditions. For the full HFFC-CEP™ Scope of Practice, visit HFFC-CEP™ Scope of Practice.
Many extended health benefit plans cover services provided by a Registered Dietitian. Check your plan for “dietitian” or “paramedical” coverage. Private dietitian services aren’t covered by OHIP. I don’t bill insurers directly, but you’ll receive a detailed receipt after each session that you can submit for reimbursement.
Consultations are $150. This includes 45 minutes together, plus 15 minutes of planning on my end to create a plan that works for you. Sessions can focus on nutrition, exercise, or integrated services, with recommendations reinforced by behaviour-change interventions. Longer or shorter sessions may be available on request.
